Mouth Piece Boss Fight - Borderlands 3

I’ve always loved how obnoxious the energy is in Borderlands 3, especially the Mouthpiece fight. I wanted to see how far I could push a mix of aggressive Trance/EDM synths against the raw grit of live-tracked guitars while keeping the whole thing reactive.
The goal was to build a vertical arrangement for Wwise that actually feels like it’s responding to the player. As the fight escalates, the layers stack and shift in real-time, intensifying the chaos without losing the punch of the mix. It was a fun challenge to keep the low-end of the EDM elements phase-locked with the high-gain guitar layers so the sound stays sharp even when everything is hitting at 100%.
