The project began with a strong foundation, with initial production handled by Chris from the band. I took the track through its final stages, handling full editing across all instruments, post-production, mixing, and mastering to bring it over the line. This was a FULLY REMOTE project.

Vinyl Theater - Dreamscape
This mix was created as part of the URM Academy Portfolio Builder program using multitracks from Vinyl Theatre. For this project I re-amped the guitars, built the MIDI drum kit from scratch, and handled the full mix and master. Having a tight reference mix from Joel Wanasek was incredibly helpful in guiding the direction of the final sound.

Mixing
Ellise - Masochist
Mixing is as much about restraint as it is about processing.
Working on this track, "Masochist" by Ellise, was a great lesson in staying out of my own way. The stems came in fantastic shape—even the vocal FX were dialed in.
When you’re handed a session that already has this much character, the goal changes. It’s not about "imposing" what I think the track should be; it’s about finding the balance and getting it release-ready without being heavy handed.
Sometimes the most "Senior" move you can make is knowing when a track is already finished and just needs a steady hand to bring it over the finish line.
